Helping to translate the book "Version Control with Subversion"
After being very annoying and insistent on this today I finally got permission to help a group of translators of the book "Version Control with Subversion" .
The translation process was half standing, no updates since version 1.2, and we are already in version 1.4. Let's have a busy mailing list and the staff seems caught in stride.
Lively class, list boiling, I wasted no time, I took just one chapter "Basic Concepts", and have already started work. Early on, I saw that it is more difficult than I thought. I did not expect less, but this is a challenge I'm sure that we will overcome.
What surprised me most is that those involved in the project are scattered to the four corners of the country, but it seems that we are all neighbors. No barriers, no boundaries. Jeez globalization!
The official translation into Portuguese of Brazil, even outdated, can be found at this link .
